“Tesserae” is out NOW!
During the summer of 2020, BETA Quartet hosted a living room concert that was enjoyed by an international audience from the safety of their own homes. Connecting with several composers and many other flutists through this innovative concert, the idea was born to produce an album of exciting, accessible flute quartet music. “Tesserae” features works by celebrated composers, Valerie Coleman, Allison Loggins-Hull, Anže Rozman, Julián Plaza, Manuel Carranza Cuerto, Daniel Baldwin, as well as the commission of a new piece by Kurton Harrison III.
